Alexis Lloyd is a multimedia designer, information architect, and new media artist whose work includes innovative interaction design and data-driven media art works. Her work has been shown at SIGGRAPH, the Chelsea Art Museum, Felissimo Design House, Artgadgets (Netherlands), MAD Emergent Arts Center (Netherlands), the Melvin Art Gallery, and Symphony Space, and her projects have been reviewed in leading blogs such as Gothamist and Tech Crunch.

In addition to her independent work, Alexis has designed award-winning projects for clients such as FOX, Columbia University, American Express, The New York Historical Society, PBS, and others. She currently works for the New York Times Research and Development group as a Creative Technologist, where she investigates future technology trends and prototypes cutting-edge interfaces for content delivery.

Alexis holds an MFA in Design and Technology from Parsons School of Design and a BA in Theater from Vassar College.

The Ad Generator goes to the Netherlands
The Ad Generator has been selected for a presentation of net.art in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. The show is called Touched Design, and addresses the theme of 'emotion and feelings in new media'. It is being produced by MAD Emergent Art Center and will be held at Artgadgets from May 2nd until June 30th.
